The Friday 10: Still on Monday, Now With 12 Songs
|
Wherein Oso and Sparky lose half of their female audience amid stammering complaints about the “sexualization, objectification, and ethno-exoticization” of women. Oso and Sparky don’t understand the fuss. They just keep doing their dance. Update: In a rather worrisome development, Sparsh has unwisely offered up next week’s bonus track to whoever can name the most movie clips from the podcast. What this means is HP is going to pay someone (who does not spend all day reading conservative blogs) to do the research for him. Then he is going to subject us to some god awful track by The Game. So, I plead, someone name more of the movie clips than whoever HP hires. You know the deal: Episode 3 (right click, save as)
Meanwhile, no better way to start the week than some good old shadenfraude: From a post titled “New Mexican Celebrity” by an Argentine blogger living in Mexico: Un chico de 11 años se convirtió en toda una celebridad por una broma que le hizo otro chico mientras un tercero filmaba.
There’s even a t-shirt! And Eduardo has more on Edgar’s more general significance. |

Greg
He forgot You Got Mail.
Good episode. Can’t wait for the rerun
wow, i found that video clip really sad and disturbing, like those Police Academy movies.
who do we give it to…patri or Greg
Oh I relinquish any credit to Greg, he’s the one who knew all the movies, and even went so far as to include the times they occured down to the second. He deserves it.
Sparsh, Os: Have you guys heard Furtado’s “Maneater” and her spanglish turn on “No Hay Igual.” Fuckin’ hot tracks. I’m sure Loose is gonna be the git ‘yer culo on the hipster dancefloor album of the year.
Are you still working on the wet calendar?
