In 2009 I co-curated 80plus1 with the media artist Michael Naimark. Based on Jules Vernes’ famous novel Around the World in 80 Days, the 81-day exhibit sought to bring the world to the residents of Linz, Austria and to bring a bit of Linz to the rest of the world. The exhibit was housed in a temporary stainless steel structure (pictured above) in Linz’s main square, the Hauptplatz. An archive of the 20 interactive art projects is still online.
